It wasn’t nails that kept Jesus on the cross. It was his love for you.

Isaiah 53

Hatred doesn’t belong to the person, the person belongs to the hatred.

Hatred will morally bankrupt you.

It makes people feel as if they are superior to others and it fosters religious pride and arrogance.

Resentment is a leech that embeds itself in your heart.

Consider the grace of God on YOUR behalf.

We forgive others because He has forgiven us.

Romans 12:14

Maybe you’ve heard someone say, or maybe you even believe, that “all roads lead to God”.

No. Wrong. Do not pass go, do not collect $100.

All roads lead to moralism. Moralism makes you feel better about the condition of your humanity.

Matthew 7:13-14

Jesus said I, am the way. I, am the truth. I, am the life. And that no one..

No one.. Comes to the Father except through me.

Religion never saved anyone.

Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.
